2009 (Junior)

Played in 11 games, with eight starts at running back .Averaged 5.2 yards per carry (124-for-650), with a team-leading seven rushing TDs…Also led the Rams in overall TDs with eight, including one through the air (13 catches, 155 yards, 11.9 avg.).

Named in the season’s opening week one of five permanent team captains, the only special-teams captain…In resounding career debut as starting RB, a 23-17 win at Colorado (Sept. 6), scored the Rams’ only two touchdowns, his first multi-TD effort as a college player (had previously scored on a kickoff return, fumbled opponent kickoff return, carry and reception, but never more than once in a game).

2010 (Junior)

Started first eight games and season finale…Injured knee on the first series of the Ohio game and did not return…Missed next three game, snapping streak of 20 consecutive starts.

Returned to lead the Cajuns to a 23-22 win at La.-Monroe.

Tossed a season-best 330 yards passing against the Warhawks, on 21-of-43 passing, with two touchdowns and zero sacks.

Connected with Aaron Spikes on a career-long 73-yard TD strike and added a five-yard scoring toss to Ladarius Green…Was 18-of-32 for 310 yards and 2 TD at NT and 33-of-55 for 308 yards and 2 TD vs. No. 22 Oklahoma State to become the fourth UL quarterback with back-to-back 300-yard passing games.

2011 Scouting Report)

A starter at Sam linebacker the past three seasons, Williams will transition to outside linebacker (the “Panther”) this year. This position switch should take fuller advantage of Williams’ ability to play in space or on the edge.

Originally joined Pitt as a running back prospect has three defensive touchdowns for his career.

2009: Played in six games. Had three catches for 83 yards – all in the Southeast Missouri State game.Had a career-long 49-yard reception

2008: Played in 10 games and recorded 11 catches.Had three catches apiece in games against Northwestern and North Dakota State

2007: Played in four games as a true freshman…Made one reception for 17 yards at Indiana State.

High School: Attended Columbus High School, where he was his team’s top receiver as a junior.Earned all-county honors as a senior.Caught 21 passes for 331 yards and five touchdowns his junior season.A year later, he hauled in 33 passes for 433 yards and two TDs.

Named first team all-conference as a freshman and sophomore .

Career  – team advanced to state playoffs as a junior and senior, posting a 24-9 over his final three seasons rushed 37 times for 300 yards and four touchdowns as a senior recorded 48 tackles, 10 pass break-ups and one tackle for loss on defense rushed for 552 yards and six touchdowns on 73 attempts as a junior rushed 159 times for 1,000 yards and nine touchdowns as a sophomore .

Team captain as a senior earned four varsity letters as running back and defensive back .also lettered four times in track (hurdles and sprints).
